One key, whichever hours you are keeping
You choose what to block and lock it with one tap, or on a schedule — locking never needs the key, though the app only locks once a Spark is paired. Unlocking is the part that costs something: you fetch the key and hold your phone against it for about fifteen seconds (or tap it, with the NFC Spark). Leave it in another room and the apps stay locked until you get up and go to it. Calls always get through.
- Deep work — The big ones plus the sneaky ones. Two hours, no exceptions.
- Study — Everything that isn't notes, reference, or a calculator.
- Family time — Just the three that keep pulling you out of the room.
- Sleep — From an hour before bed until the alarm goes off.

Will it work on your phone
Spark needs an iPhone on iOS 17 or later, or an Android phone on Android 12 or later. The Bluetooth key needs nothing more. The NFC key also needs a phone with an NFC reader, which many budget Android phones do not have — choosing the NFC key when you press Buy brings up a check you can run on the phone itself. If it cannot give you a clear yes, check your phone’s settings, or choose the Bluetooth key, which is the safe choice.
The Spark app is free, with no subscription, and it isn't in the App Store or Google Play yet — the links will appear on the download page when the listings go live. Pairing a key needs a free account and an internet connection, once; after that, locking and unlocking work offline. What each platform lets Spark enforce differs, and the download page sets out both.

Before you pay
Which key do I need?
If you are not sure, the Bluetooth key: it works with any phone Spark supports, runs on a CR2032 coin cell with nothing to charge, and unlocks when you hold your phone against it for about 15 seconds. The NFC key has no battery and unlocks with a tap, but it needs a phone with an NFC reader, and many budget Android phones do not have one — confirm yours does before you choose it. One account uses one kind of key.
Will it work on my phone?
Spark works on an iPhone on iOS 17 or later and on an Android phone on Android 12 or later. The Bluetooth key needs nothing more; the NFC key also needs an NFC reader, and choosing it on this page brings up a check you can run on the phone itself. The Spark app is free, with no subscription, but it is not in the App Store or Google Play yet, and pairing a key needs a free account and an internet connection, once.
When does it ship?
We dispatch within 7 days of your payment clearing, and delivery then typically takes a further 3–7 working days, depending on your PIN code. If we miss that window you can cancel from your order page for a full refund. Shipping is free to most of India, and a flat ₹100 to J&K, Ladakh, Himachal, Kerala and the North-East. A colour on preorder ships by the date shown beside it instead, and you see that date before you pay.
Can I return it?
Not once it has been dispatched: there are no change-of-mind returns after that. A paid order is dispatched within the days shown on your order page and can't be cancelled before then; if we miss that date you can cancel for a full refund. A preorder's deposit is not refunded if you cancel or don't pay the balance in time, and comes back in full only if your Spark isn't ready by the date we promised. If your Spark arrives damaged or does not work, tell us within 7 days of delivery, with a photo, and we replace it free, shipping included. Every Spark also carries a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects; batteries, physical damage, water damage and loss are not covered.
Is GST included?
No. Prices are quoted before GST, and GST at 18% is added at checkout, where you see the tax and the total before you pay. Shipping is free to most of India (₹100 to a few remote regions, shown once you type your PIN code), and nothing else is added. A GST invoice is available on request.

- Why a physical key — the argument for friction, and the honest limits of it.
- Spark vs Brick — how the two keys differ, and when Brick is the better buy.
- How it compares — Opal, Freedom, Screen Time and the rest, including when to buy theirs instead.
- How to block apps on iPhone and on Android — every method, the free ones included.
- The free app— no subscription, and it needs a paired Spark to lock. It isn't in the App Store or Google Play yet.
